Alerts are scoped to your starred tickers and delivered two ways: in-browser while the site is open, and by push to your device even when it isn't. One bell controls both.
Sign in, star at least one ticker, tap the bell 🔔 in the header, and allow notifications when the browser asks. That's it for desktop and Android.
iPhone needs one extra step first: add the site to your home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from that icon — Apple only allows web push for installed apps. Then tap the bell inside the installed app.
The ⚙ next to the bell opens your alert filters: alert types (in-force breaks, Failed 2s, outside bars), timeframes (15m through Yearly), and setup families. Leave a group empty to receive everything in it — filters only ever narrow, and they apply to both push and in-browser alerts from one setting.
The gear glows amber when filters are active, so there's always a visible answer to 'why didn't I get that alert?'
Before the open on trading days, members with push enabled get one personal notification if any of their tickers gapped: the names and the numbers. No matches, no notification — silence is deliberate.
No pushes? Check, in order: you're signed in; the bell is on (amber); the ticker is starred; your filters aren't excluding the alert's timeframe or setup; and on iPhone, that you're using the home-screen app. Browser-level notification permissions can also be revoked system-wide — check your OS settings last.
Not financial advice. Tools detect and deliver — decisions are yours.
